Add Merchant Information to Transaction.
  • Categorise your expenses more accurately by adding merchant name. This will help you analyse your spending patterns and habits better and help you improve your financial management and planning.
Change Primary Currency
  • Now you can change the primary currency in the app different from the currency based on your device region. Primary currency is used to display expense and income amounts across the app and to present reports generated from your financial data.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the chart labels from showing or hiding immediately after hide amount is toggled in privacy settings.
  • and other performance improvements to make your experience better.

Here are new features and improvements added to the app:
Income Tracking
- We understand that managing your money isn't just about expenses. With our new Income Tracking feature, you can now effortlessly monitor your earnings alongside your spending. This comprehensive view empowers you to make more informed financial decisions and ensures you're optimizing your financial health from all angles.
- Whether you’re a business owner, freelancer or you work 9-5 with multiple income streams it’s important to keep track of how much you’re earning or receiving (for those who get a lot of cash gifts) to help you become financially responsible.
Transaction Type Filters
- With the introduction of transition types, you can now filter insights and periodic summaries by transaction types: income and expense.
- In addition, this feature improves how you categorise your financial data. You can now create custom income categories if you earn from different sources.
Hide Default Categories
- We’ve gotten several feedback that categories can be overwhelming.
- In this build you can now hide the default expense and income categories that ships with the app so that you can create your own personalised categories and organise your transactions in a unique way.
- To hide default categories, go to App Settings and toggle the switch on and every time you want to choose categories for new transactions, only your custom categories would appear on the list.
UI Clean Up
- We thought the app will look cleaner by removing grey backgrounds from the top navigation area and the tabs area in the app.
- Tabs icons were also replaced with outline version rather than the filled version.
- We made the green selection colour of the Time Period (Week, Month, Year) buttons on Insights screen lighter.
Bug fixes:
  • Fixed an issue that prevented iOS 17 users from seeing icons when creating new custom categories. In case you’re still experiencing this after updating your app, please send us a mail.

Here are new features and improvements added to the app:
  • Automatically sum up expenses
- We know how tedious it can be to manually add up the prices of all the items you buy when logging a new transaction. That’s why we’ve added a new feature that automatically computes the sum of all the prices you enter in the description field. Just separate each item and its price in a new line and our app will do the math for you. For example, if you enter "coffee 3.50, muffin 2.00, sandwich 4.50", our app will show you the total amount of 10.00.
- This feature will save you time and hassle, and help you track your expenses more accurately and efficiently. You can also edit the total amount if you need to make any adjustments. We think you will love it. Try it out today!

  • Onboarding Improvements
- Two of the most important features in Ratio App are Daily Reminders and Weekly Reports. These features play an important role in helping our users build healthier financial habits and they require iOS notifications capabilities which many users aren’t aware of.
- That’s why we have added a dedicated screen to onboard new users on these features and the benefits to financial responsibility.
Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a situation where empty states didn’t show for newly logged in users and made the Overview screen blank
  • Fixed an issue causing infinite loading state for the Insights Screen for newly logged in users
  • Fixed an issue where selecting search suggestions on Search screen was unresponsive.

BETA Release v0.6.0

Here are new features and improvements added to the app:
  • Custom Categories
- While we continue to expand the list of admin categories to make it more comprehensive, we aim to make expense categorization more specific and tailored to user preferences.
- We believe that it is essential to categorize your expenses according to your needs for more accurate tracking and financial management.
- In this build you can now create a new category when adding a transaction or choose new categories you have created for existing transactions.
  • Icon Library
- We have developed a diverse Icon Library to help you create a visual representation of your expense categories. There are a wide array of options to choose from while maintaining the minimalist theme of the application..
  • Category Management
- New in Settings under App Settings section, you can manage all categories you have created whether you want to change the category name or the icon.

Bug fixes:
  • We fixed an issue preventing “Cancel” button from dismissing the add transaction modal when editing a transaction.
  • Search Bar now sticks to the top when scrolling up on the “Choose Category” screen.
